No Lie, High And Dry In Chiang Mai

No Lie, High and Dry in Chiang Mai

For those of you concerned about the flooding in Thailand we just wanted to reassure you that the flooding which happened in Chiang Mai more than a month ago was minor, unlike what is happening in parts of Bangkok. Don't let the media make you believe that the whole country is underwater. Our hearts go out to the victims of the flooding in Bangkok and other parts of the central interior just north of the city.

The Chiang Mai International Airport has never had any closure and remains open to serve you, while the same is true at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. The weather has been lovely, as it normally is between November and February, and the start of Loy Krathong Lantern Festival is well underway. Here are some recent pictures of events in the North taken over the last couple of weeks.

We remain open and ready to provide you with the best value in TEFL/TESOL training today in one of the world's most inspiring locations. We offer some of the lowest prices and most in depth hands on training through our practical approach and 2 or 3 week observed teaching practice. Take a look at what our Paradise TEFL Chiang Mai students have to say about the program by looking at a few testimonials.

If traveling to Asia isn't in your budget we are opening programs in the USA and Mexico. Also to better meet the needs of customers who are working and have family commitments we also offer our coursework on line and virtually for easier access and greater flexibility of time management.

A primary focus of our course is also to ensure that you have a good job and a job that you want and are interested in by the time you complete our course.  Training and learning can be fun, but the end goal is to make sure you have profitable employment in the city where you desire to live and work.

The course we offer you is not a traditional academic English course as you would obtain from a university or some of the other traditional TEFL – TESOL schools.  We believe that it is our job to prepare you for a real teaching job in the real world and not just bury you in an avalanche of facts, grammar rules and strict procedures.

The advanced course provides additional English Language teaching certifications and is offered in tandem with our site course in Chiang Mai Thailand, or as a complete series of online modules.  You should have already completed a TEFL, TESOL or CELTA course first in order to be eligible and teaching experience is necessary. (Our on-site program provides 2 to 3 weeks of hands on observed teaching practice to help our teachers to effectively develop their skills).

At TEFL Chiang Mai, we also offer and accommodations inclusive TEFL Buddhist-Exchange Program where-by teachers can also study Dharma in an amazing “jungle temple” near town with a monk and in return reciprocate with volunteer teaching hours as a means of making merit for the community.

All courses are certified and you will receive a certificate of completion, which is internationally recognized and accepted when you graduate from the course. Many of those who already have experience as TEFL instructors are finding that becoming a certified TEFL trainer is another opportunity and feather in their cap in terms of meeting the demand of TEFL instructors (who are leaving their home countries and working abroad) by teaching others how to teach TEFL effectively.

Graduates with these additional certifications have the advantage of substantially increasing their marketability and employment status. Improve your chances of getting a good job with a higher level of pay by enrolling today!
